Dr Robert Phaal
Dr Robert Phaal is a Principal Research Associate in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge, based in the Centre for Technology Management, Institute for Manufacturing. He conducts research in the area of strategic technology and innovation management, with interests in technology assessment and evaluation, ventures and industrial emergence, and the development of practical management tools and visual methods for supporting technology-intensive innovation. A particular interest over the past 20 years has been the road mapping method, exploring the generalization and efficient application of this and related techniques in many sectors and contexts. Rob has a mechanical engineering background, with a PhD in computational mechanics, and industrial experience in technical consulting, contract research and software development.

Matar Project is an electronic project aimed at giving the blind the equal educational and cultural opportunity, attracting volunteers who have the ability and passion to help, by communicating with them online and assisted by registering books with their voices or printing these books on the word program even Screen readers can read them to the blind so that each volunteer takes a certain number of pages

Jordanian Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association (JEIA), an organization that was founded to fulfil his Majesty King Abdullah II's vision to establish a leading authority to support entrepreneurship education in Jordan. Our primary objective is to contribute to the development of an infrastructure for entrepreneurship in Jordan that can create a healthy startup ecosystem for local companies, and one that can potentially contribute to positioning Jordan as a leading startup destination for companies from around the world. Moreover -- we work on strengthening the relationship and communications between different governmental bodies, such as the Jordanian Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, the Royal Scientific Society and the private sector, by serving as 1) a bridge between the private and the public sector through mitigating the differences in perception and communication between the two sectors, and 2) advocates and supporters for local startups and SMEs. We currently have over 100 member companies, some of which are considered to be among the top 100 startups in the MENA region i.e. Madfoo3atcom, Arabia Weather, Mawdoo3, Tamatem, ShopGo, POSRocket, Hello World Kids to name a few, and we have numerous new members from both the private and the public sector joining our association everyday.
